hello friends, i need an emergent help !!
this is a very nasty problem:
my voyager is playing a MIDI part from cubase and every time the cursor is getting out of the part, the next time i jump the cursor to the beginning of the MIDI part, the preset is completely changed. the parameters are different and the volium is very very low.
it didnt happen to me in the recent week (since i got my voyager)
Cubase is probably sending a program change and volume message at the beginning of the loop. I haven’t used Cubase in 7 or so years so I couldn’t tell you how to turn it off. Check your manual.
it didnt happen with VSTs so i dont think it is in the cubase
maybe i changed somemething in the voyager?
because, again, i am working with the synth for a week now and it only started happening yesterday
What did you change just before it started happening? (on the synth or the software.)
It really sounds like an off board of the Moog issue. Try turning off MIDI program change in the Master Menu of the Voyager and see if it still happens.
Regardless of whether it happens with VSTs I still think it may be worth looking at the MIDI event editor in Cubase for stray MIDI CC messages. At least that way you can rule it out completely. At this point you’re making an assumption because your VSTs work normally.
thanks a lot everybody, it is OK now. i really dont know what fixed it as i didnt know what made it happen. i also think it has something to do with the MIDI preferences in cubase and not the voyager. probably the few times i restarted the cubase fixed it (like 95% of the problems in life)
