What does the “Precision Mode” parameter in the LP’s master section do ?
I don’t find it in the manual.

Sorry, I am really dumb ![]()
Precision mode allows you to specifiy exactly the value you want for a control voltage.
Go to the Precison mode page in the Master settings, then press the button for the cv that you want to change. Press the edit button to get the cursor under the value, then use the value knob to change the value. You can still use the selected pot to make gross, quick changes.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed shortly after I posted my question but couldn’t delete the embarrassing post anymore ![]()
The manual was being written while the Moog engineers were finalizing the LP’s operating system. Precision Mode was on their list of ‘nice-to-have’ features, but there was no garranty that this feature would be included in the production software. Due to the lead time needed to produce the user manual, the description for Precision Mode was intentionally omitted, lest it describe a feature that might not be in the production units.
Precision Mode works just as Babamoog describes, providing LP users with an additional degree of tweaking precision.

So what other ‘nice-to-have’ features didn’t make it in production Phatties?
How soon until we see them in an OS update? ![]()
