Power Supply #3 done and running Moog 9504A and Moon M569!

I finally got my third power supply done for my 3rd modular rack. I’ve still got two more to build but the rest will be much simpler than this one. It’s kind of over the top and silly in some ways but . . it works so that’s good enough for me!

It’s for the rack that houses a Moon M569 sequencer, a Moon M564 switch, a COTK C1670 Ensemble Generator, a COTK C1680 Delay and a ‘Moog’ 9504A LPF. Yes, only 5 modules but I’m using two Power-One supplies plus a little adapter to generate the +15, -15, +5, +12, -12 and -6 voltages needed.

Back (sorry for all the colored wire ties, Kevin!:

Here’s a very short video featuring the Moon M569 sequencer and Moog 9504A filter (plus a bunch of other modules that are off-camera):

And no, I haven’t finished fixing the MiniMoog yet! I’ve got to much going on but I will get there! A few days ago I got my custom panel for my Music From Outer Space 16 step sequencer and I just had to take the time to mount the controls!:

Just like Paul’s grandpa in a hard day’s night : very clean. Where did you yet that nice rack front plate?

Thanks for sharing, sounds great so far!

Thanks! The plate for the powersupply I got from Guitar Center and is Raxxess brand. The front panel for the MFOS sequencer I designed and ordered from Front Panel Express:

Thanks for watching and commenting! :sunglasses:

Going to check that. Right now, I have two self-built power units supplying a variety of voltages (-15, 15, 13.5, -12, 12, 9, 6, 5.6, -5, +5 ) strapped on the legs (for technical reasons), at the bottom of my self made rack. I have been meaning to tidy this up for some time. Somehow, the idea of putting them as units into the rack has not crossed my mind. Now I know the way to go
