Posting with Quotes?

Hi Gang,

Sorry if I’m being obtuse here (I did look at the FAQ first).

I can’t figure out how to quote a previous post (the way we used to).

I know that I can hit the “Quote” button and paste text in between the tags.

But if you do it that way the quote won’t begin with the ID of the person quoted.

Am I just not seeing a button somewhere?

I’m finding it hard to distinguish who’s posted what - it’s all a bit indistinct.
