Does anyone know if I could plug this into my Little Phatty’s CV in’s, as a modulation source? I see them on ebay for about $50.00, so it would be an nice cheap gadget to have. The CV in looks interesting as well, possibly driven by the Phatty through my midi-to-cv box for oscillator tracking modulation.
For $50 I’d say go for it, but note the following caveats:

The spec sheet doesn’t say what type of VCO CV control is used (V/Oct, V/HZ, etc.), so a MIDI-CV conversion box might not give you the result you’re expecting for tracking modulation.

The VCO has no tempco.

The squarewave has no pulse width control.

The VCO range is spec’d at 20 – 20Khz. If correct, this means you won’t be able to use the box as an LFO.
That aside, the Apex box should provide your LP with some expanded modulation possibilities (probably more ‘effects-type’ sounds than anything else – but who knows?).
Seems like it can’t hurt to try it.
