hey everyone, i’m a classical composer who is interested in hooking an electric cello and electric violin both into the same ring modulator. is this possible? and, if it is, will it work as well with two instruments?

Will it work? Of course.
Do you mean one instrument modulating the other, or both modulated by the internal oscillator? Either way, it will sound quite inharmonic, which will either be real good or real bad, depending on how you feel about such things.
