Didn’t know whether to post here too since it’s in the general section already, but since it’s kind of a moogerfooger type device, might as well, in case people don’t get around to other forum sections.
Might as well put this on the Moog forum. After parting out my Polymoog synth, selling off all the parts, and building a coffee table from the case, I also ripped out the 3 band resonator, cut the PCB down to size, sliced part of the panel out of the synth, then put that into a custom built walnut case for probably the world’s only stand-alone Polymoog resonator. I’m going to put it up for sale within the next few days, timing dependent on whether I feel like making an audio demo of it or not. So might as well see before it goes away.
Later picture after I added the bypass/enable LED.
And a couple of links to other photos, one showing size comparison to a moogerfooger, and the other showing the back with the power supply and cables it will come with. The switch back there isn’t a power switch, it’s a bypass switch. The bi-colored LED on the front panel acts just like a regular moogerfooger: green=enabled, red=bypass, and the LED lit=powered up.
As I posted in the other forum, I recall seeing this several months ago, I don’t remember if it was here or some where else. Nice job though and interesting idea.
Yes I saw it some where else it may not have been on the Moog Forums though, but I have seen it , I want to say early to mid summer. Or at best it was another section of a Poly parted out and put in a box, but I am 99% sure it was this, I remember how nice the box looked and the Moog Sticker on top.
I posted links to the first pictures of it on the AH mailing list on Nov 11. That was just a few weeks ago, as that was when I mostly finished it. Matrixsynth always puts stuff like this up on his site, and somebody posted the pictures on the dubsounds website. So you may have seen it in on one of those places.
