What I want to know is how easy are these things to service as it states there is a fault [tone pitch is fixed]. Also, How much do you think I should bid up to. I really want to get one of these.

I’d be careful on this one as the seller has no feedback.
I thought about that at first, however 2 things spring to mind.
1.) Somebody has to start somewhere with no feedback, so this doesn’t worry me too much and there is some protection when you pay with paypal. Also I don’t think these things fetch more than around $650 or so.
2.) If it was a scam, then he wouldn’t mention the fault as he would be trying to get the best price possible from the ad.
I would like to know though just how difficult these things are to work on. I’m not good with electrics, but I know someone who is. Do you need specialist parts and things or can any good component service guy repair this?
