… regarding the T3 bugs - for me mainly the crash when using MIDI control. If enough people email maybe they’ll notice:

Curious to hear how/under what conditions this happens. The answer may be in another thread but if you don’t mind, I’d be curious to see if mine has the same issue.

I’ve used mine to trigger strings from my Matrix 6 while playing bass and also have tweaked parameters on the Taurus from a Novation SL mk II and not had issues.

I know that Amos experienced some hung key issues with Phatty code development and most recently (6-9 mos ago) with a specific family of controllers (Korg micro and MS2000). Despite looking very similar in operating model; the Phatty and Taurus use a different compute platform.

Well many others have mentioned it too. It would be interesting to know eveyone’s set-up. In my case I am using a Novation X-Station25 USB MIDI into Cubase 5 to control the Taurus using the MIDI In (DIN). If I play for extended periods (just notes I think, no controls, although I have them mapped) eventually it will hang - requiring a reboot, although sometimes scrolling to an Arpeggiator patch will fix it (most times not though). The reboot menu needs to be accessed a lot easier than it is now, I can never remember where it is: maybe pushing two buttons together or somesuch would be an idea.

I haven’t used the MIDI In for so long now I can’t remember anymore specifics than that, but it was unusable as a MIDI controlled device - I intended to use a keyboard live for some sounds, feet for others, but if the MIDI hangs over a loud PA I’ll probably kill the first three rows of the audience so I’ve held back on trying that.
