Does anyone know if there’s a seperate setting for turning the pitch bend on or off besides the one in the edit menu? I’ve noticed that pitch bend only works on some patches but not all of them and if I change the pitch bend amount in the edit menu it has no effect.
Right now I’m at work so…no. I’m using the twolfsyx presets on a Voyager Performer downloaded directly from moogmusic.com. Off the top of my head the patch called Funky Cat (I think) has no pitchbend even though it seems to be enabled in the edit menu. I can send you something when I get home later.
Thomas’ “Funky Cat” preset got a minor third pitch bend amount and it’s working fine. Maybe you should send this preset and I will compare the settings.

If you load the original Thomas Wolf soundbank onto a Voyager with OS 2.5 or higher, you get some problems until you do a factory reset. The reason is that the original TWolf bank was written on an OS < 2.5, before the existence of Pot Mapping. When you load a preset which was created on an old OS with no Pot Mapping into a Voyager which has a new OS including Pot Mapping, then the Pot Mapping section of each patch has random data in it. This can do strange things to your sounds until you reset all pot mapping to default values. You can reset pot mapping in the Factory Setup menu; go to MASTER, then select Copyright Info and press Enter, then press +1. From the Factory Setup menu, select Pot Mapping, press Enter, select Yes and press Enter. All Pot Mapping values for the currently-active bank will be reset.
why not load the old version of these presets into a newer Voyager OS and then save the bank for internet download. This way, the problems that happened because of this different versions of sound files would not cause trouble to users.
it would take less then 2 hours to do this.
And it would save many inquires by users.
This has already been done a long time ago; I have an “updated” version of the TWolf bank on my computer. If the Internet download is still the old version, this is a big oversight! I will see to it that the updated/pot-mapping-reset version is posted online.
