Just got a slim phatty the other day…love everything about it except for the fact that the phatty is using two cc#'s that are already assigned in the general midi spec. That being cc#10 (Osc2 Freq) which is assigned to pan, and cc# 11 (Osc2 Wave) which is assigned to expression. CC#10 is especially annoying, causes my daw to pan my midi tracks…Yes I know you can filter incoming midi in logic, but if you do that you will not be able to record automation from the phatty…as it stands I have to now convert cc#10 to another number in Logic’s environment just to be able to record automation…given that the phatty doesn’t even use anything close to 127 cc’s I don’t know why Moog assigned these two parameters to these numbers…Maybe someone can clue me in on that
Maybe this was not the best way to introduce myself, but that aside I will say I love my phatty, and am proud to be a member of the Moog community ![]()
