I cannot get Phatty Tuner software (Mac) to work with Sub 37. The sofware connects, Device menu says “Sub 37”, midi channel and port is ok. After I press Send nothing happens. The Sub 37 Global menu, Tuning scales, stays unchanged, my scale is not updated.
Since this is software from 2010 made for Little Phatty, I am a bit worried whether it works at all. The manual refers to it, so it should. Anyone tried?

Working fine here. Make sure Sub 37 selected for Output as well as Input on the device menu.
I set a scale number, changed the scale name, hit Send…saw a red MIDI LED on the Sub 37, and my new scale name was visible and active on the Sub 37 Tuning Scales menu when I checked it.
Just saw where you were trying Mac, I was testing on a PC… will try Mac version next, but it’s not set up to test right now. No reason it shouldn’t work though, that I know of…

No need checking. I just tried again using a single USB cable direct connection, no hub. Looks like that was it. It works now!
My USB hub did not make me any troubles until now, or so I thought.
The moral: Always check your USB hub in case of any USB connection troubles!
