Some fooling around with the Boss
Moog LP and Gforce’s Virtual String Machine for, uh, the string sounds
The repetitive bass was sequenced by Korg EMX, the rest is played live

No mastering, raw mix (eh, it’s a quick cover, I don’t want to spend ages on this!)
Mmmm … I like that.
You shouldn’t spend a year on that song, but just a little time to vary the arrangement a bit. Maybe a short passage with a little more “space” in it? The vocal can definitely stand without pads for a while.
Do something a little bit more of it - It doesn’t take much!
Yeah, that’s what I usually do, but here I like the oppressing relentness tone
That and also I forgot a verse, eheh, where I could have had a sparser section
Anyway, I’ll think about it, thanks for the comment
I like it you and the Boss mix well ![]()
Thank you!
Story has it that the track was inspired by band Suicide
I don’t know if it’s true but as soon as I had the LP I thought I should cover it with a big Moog bass:)
Khoral, this has become one of my favorite songs. I thought of it spontaneously this morning and had to come listen to it again. I think it is truly good, and encourage you to spend some more time on it if you are moved to…
Thanks for sharing!
