Arturia MicroBrute plays the step sequence (“played live” by transposing the sequence), and it’s signal goes through several Minifoogers. Roland TR-505 plays the beat, and it’s signal is fed thru the MicroBrute input (which goes out thru the Minifoogers). Roland DR-550 plays the e-piano and is fed through an MF-Drive, modulated by a CV LFO for a ‘phaser’ effect. In short, Everything goes thru something Moog!
Thanks! Other than the step sequence, it is all played live and on-the-fly into a Tascam Portastudio. Even started the drum machine with one hand, while the other held down a key for the sequence. LOL
Truth is, I work all day inside graphic suites, and try to avoid computers for my music fun. DAWs are incredible, but too close to “work” for me to find any fun on an spring afternoon in Asheville.
