patching 960 V-trigs

I must have read this paragraph at the many times, but never finished it or internalized it: https://modularsynthesis.com/moog/960/960.htm?fbclid=IwAR1SI_JAaPNZpXImPzq2SrPI2G6ex-toACFN3sL_J1zqS4aL2O5HlfmgmHQ

a race condition in the set/reset logic prevents patching V-trig within the same 960 - between two or more 960’s is fine.

to remedy the condition, stretching the V-trig pulse a little is enough to cover the race condition. the solution proposed in the link, is to route the V-trig out stage to the 961 B-col delay, then back to the S->V trig convertor, then to the stage you want to set. a very small amount of delay is necessary, so any propagation delay will probably work.
