Overload on Voyager ...

Hey Moogies…

I was experiemnting with old Mini tricks on the Voyager. I found that if you run L out to an amp/speakers and run R out to the EXT INPUT, turn the EXT IN ON and UP (until the overload light starts blinking in unison with what you are playing), this simulates the Overload function that the LP will utilize, I believe..

With the Model D you’d plug the LOW output into the EXT IN and the HIGH output to the amp.

Doing this trick with either Mini really doubles up and beefs up the sound even MORE ! Essentially, the Mini through itself has the balls of two Minis in unison.

Try it..

The ‘Filtration Nation’ article on SquareWave explains a variation of this trick, where you route the Voyager LEFT output to the External Input, and take the audio from the RIGHT output (the Left Out is the one that uses the filter Spacing control, giving you more feedback adjustment options.).
