overload on Voyager possible?

Is the Phatty’s overload effect possible with the Voyager by patching the audio (or headphone) back into the audio-in? I can’t really get it to work, but I’m sure that’s my own fledgling fault. haha. Thanks, everyone.

Check out this recent thread about it…

thanks, Alain.

Possible add-on for Overdrive.

Oakley just released their version 2 module design, reworked with some new capabilities. If you are handy, you can get through a build with minimal expense (25 GPB and likely $20-$30 worth of parts) and if you don’t have a 5U modular, any project box will due. http://www.oakleysound.com/overdrv.htm

Exactly ‘where’ you insert a device like this depends on what sort of sound sculpting you are after. On a proper modular you might put it prior to the filter, or between filter and VCA. On a Voyager, your choices are fewer but as detailed in Greg AEs post, KnobTweak offers several choices.

Is this better than a stomp box? I say that it must be. More discreet components, more controls, made to work with synth audio dynamics and superbly … here it comes … tweakable. If you are hand, insert a few components to allow for CV input for any of the panel based potentiometers, drive it with an LFO, etc.
