With SMT these days, there’s no excuse for not making analog, right? One question on the Korg: if it’s an MS filter-clone, where is the HPF??
P.S. It kinda looks a bit toy-ish, no?
That picture is bigger than actual size.
Pity, but there is no CV out from the ribbon to use it as a controller elsewhere.
I like the idea, I wish they had gone further with the concept. a MIDI in, and 1/4" connections and I’m there.
Oh, hell yeah! Thanks for posting this - at less than 80 bucks, I’m pre-ordering one tomorrow as soon as Nova Musik opens. If nothing else, it will make a great lunch box & travel companion. I would have preferred chicklet mini-keys over the ribbon, but at this price, I’m not complaining. Man, I hope this means Korg is getting ready to re-issue the MS-Series…
And Alesis, what boneheads! They discontinue the Andromeda right when interest in real analog synthesis is at it’s highest since it’s hey-day, and they don’t respond to customer’s email inquiries at all. A textbook example of how NOT to run a business.
Darn it, if I don’t stop buying gadgets, I’ll never save up enough for a Voyager, nor will I be ready to plunk down a deposit for a Moog poly. Ah, if these are the worst of my problems, then life is good…
