OSX 1.1.19 Installer

Hi folks,

The 1.1.19 installer app isn’t working for me. OSX 10.9.5

All other version have worked OK.

I’ve tried rebooting etc but it doesn’t seem to open.

I can’t see anything Sub37 or Moog related in the activity monitor. On clicking the app I see the expanding circle ‘shockwave’ but nothing happens after that.

Manual Install works OK

Before we check this further, will you try opening up 1.1.16 and see if it loads ? then do the same with 1.1.19… then again with 1.1.16. Just to be sure it’s indeed related to 1.1.19 only.

Thanks !

Interesting, it worked for me last night when testing.

I fixed a bug when outputting MIDI Map CC sysex to the Editor, and built a new installer… try v1.1.20:
http://www.moogconnect.net/downloads/sub37/Sub_37_Firmware_v1_1_20.zip

I have downloaded from this same link, unzipped and launched the OSX installer on my Mac (OSX 10.10.5).
If any issues with it for you, please let me know.

Thanks!

Amos

Hi Amos,

1.1.16 is opening but 1.1.19 and 1.1.20 are not.

Cheers.

Are you still having issues getting the firmware installer loading ?

Hi Friends,

OSX 10.8.5. Since 1.1.16, installers always worked and correctly installed updates. But I always had to set the installer in Advanced Mode to make my Sub 37 version seen by the installer (even with 1.1.19).

Hi StarskyCarr,

any error when these firmware updaters are not opening, or just quietly failing to open?

OSX 10.8.5. 1.1.20 installation worked as a charm. As usual, I had to go in Advanced Mode and set my Midi Input/Output to Moog Sub 37.

Thanks, I’m not really sure what you mean…

When I launch the Updater, the “Installed Version” window shows “No device”. So I open Updater Preferences, clic on Advance Mode which opens the Midi Input and Output panel and manually set In/Out to Moog Sub 37.

Now, I just made a new try to describe this process and notice that if I just open the Updater and wait… more than 20 secs it automatically sees “Installed version” from the Sub 37.

So it does work even better than I thought! :stuck_out_tongue: :sunglasses:

Yes, it can take a few seconds for the updater to see the hardware. Thanks.

Hi StarskyCarr,

Nothing happens, the app simply fails to start. The Moog logo appears to expand - or is it just an apple concentric shockwaves effect - on clicking but nothing after that.

Reported.
