Is there a way to force oscillation to start at the same spot every time a note is triggered, like a hard sync function?
Basically, I made a patch that always starts in a different spot in the oscillation when I play a note and I’d like to have it always start at the peak of the waveform.

The LFO sync knob under the LFO rate knob.
I neglected to mention it’s for Oscillator 3’s Frequency, and changing any of the Modulation Buss settings totally ruins the sound.
Thanks for that LFO sync info though, that will be useful.
You could turn on Osc 3 Keyboard Control, but that will also change the frequency as you move around the keyboard.
Tried that already, it ruins the sound too.
Maybe 3.6 will hold an answer!

You mean you want to trigger the waveshape in the exact same place everytime?
I don’t know if thats possible with the Voyager.
Isn’t that what clamping on the old 921s were about?
You’re right. Kevin Lightner told me last night the 921B oscillators had that function.

Q106 Osc from Arrick have that function also. Very handy. Also usefull when trying to do Shepard tones.

921 VCO has clamping, 921B has hard sync. There’s a difference.
The Voyager oscillators do not have facility for resetting waveforms. Fixed in hardware, not possible to change in the OS.
Yep, Kevin was referring to hard sync for the 921B. I just assumed clamping and hard sync were the same thing.

Man I need to get one of these.
Sounds like an amazing module.
