Osc. 2 not synced

Hey,

Recently I set up a loop on ableton and tweaked the LP:TE to see how many different variants of the same melody I could get. Lots of fun. I got some sounds that I loved and so recorded to be part of a song. I was using the MW METAL preset and while the loop was playing I’d turn on the second oscillator on 16’ to have a syncronized bassline of the same texture. I’m pretty sure I set it to 1-2 SYNC to achieve this. Anyway, today I wanted to record a new section of the song and I’ve been tweaking for a while to try and find the sound I described above. Problem is, is when I select 1-2 SYNC and 16’ for the second oscillator, and play the loop there are no low notes. boths waves are all the way to the left (triangle) and both levels are all the way up. The OSC2 Freq knob doesn’t add or subtract bass. When I put the octave button it sounds like 16’ turns OSC2 off because the jump from 2 seems to get less dense and high pitched, 8’ is more subtle as well.
Does it sound like there’s a problem with OSC2? or is it a setting somewhere on the LP I’ve accidentally hit. I guess it would have helped if I had saved the modified preset but It wasn’t that hard to program in the first place.

Thanks

Ok…So I figured out that I achieved the sound with the SYNC off. I keep getting really close to the sound I made, but it’s within milimeters of the right tweaking…it’s so irritating.

So let us hear it

Haha. I’ll be more than willing to share it when It’s more intact, it’s got a large gap in the middle right now.
