osc 1 not working on my moog prodigy HELP!

Hi,

I’ve just acquired a moog prodigy and have summed up the courage to open it up and take a look around. I’ve managed to replace the fuse so that now it works, I’ve inverted the wire harness to the light so now it works. The wire harness to the pitch and mod wheels were also inverted so that now they appear to work properly. I don’t think the osc 1 works though. WHen I turn down osc 2 all i hear from osc 1 is a sort of a light static noise (yes I have adjusted the envelope and filters and all other knobs)
I have downloaded some ‘schematics’ and ‘plans’ and have adjusted some trim pots on the inside in hope that osc 1 was just ‘turned down’ or so out of tune it was inaudible. Would anyone know how I could remedy this situation?
I also would like to add an audio input jack and want to know where do i tap into…it seeems the info ive got on the net is not for the same model I have…-which is model number 4336? can’t remember off top of my head.

Cheers

If connectors were on backwards and the fuse blown, the instrument may have component-level problems.
You yourself may not have what’s necessary to repair it.
Obviously someone had “worked” on it previously and was either trying to solve problems or caused them.

There are no volume trimmers for the vcos in this synth.
The trimmers adjust the tuning parameters.

Sorry, but the only recommendation I could offer would be to take it to a tech that knows what he or she is doing.
