Only 1 out of 8 notes struck triggers sound??

My Slim Phatty only seems to be playing every eigth note that I strike on my midi controller (in this case, a Nord Stage compact).
The SP seems to register every single strike as a midi input, but only one out of every 8 strikes results in sound - anyone know why this may be happening!?!? This is very strange - any input is much appreciated!

Have you tried another controller? POLY OFF?

I’ve since figured out this peoblem - it was the POLY after all…
