Ok to run CV and gate signals through standard patch bay?

I THINK so, but it might be better to get a balanced patch bay. I don’t remember why, but I recall that being the answer of my tech and analog synth guru when I asked him a few years back.

If you are trying to control CV parameters, a balanced patch bay is a must. The CV is on the ring, and a TRS bay will allow that voltage to be utilized.
