Note Fluidity Problem Under Midi Conditions -

Sorry if the title of this post sounds strange but its the only way i can explain this problem,.

  • i am using OS 3.4 on my voyager and my midi interface is the m-audio quatro.
    My Minimoog voyager sounds lovely and plays lovely without being connected to anything else,..
    However,.. once connected up to my computer,using cubase (and ableton) with local control set to off…
    The fluidity between each note played is more or less stoccato,.. the notes dont morph very well to into each other and its as though they are being truncated.,
    Im a very experienced synthesist,and have been using sequencers and synths for 25 years,. but i cant find the root of this problem ?
    Any help would be very usefull.

Hi Darren,
is Active Key OFF on page 4.2 (MIDI Key Order) of the MASTER menu?

Thanks Rudi that fixed it,i did actualy try that the other nite however i didnt exit the page,and as i discovered tonite the change only takes effect once you exit the page.
