Rock ‘n’ roll lost another guitarist/musician. This time Stooges guitarist Ron Asheton, age 60. He will be sadly missed. ![]()
Ron will not be forgotten!
It comes in waves, I guess. Mitch Mitchell, Rick Wright, and now Ron.
I guess all they need now is a bass player up there.
RIP, friend.
Man there are too few good bass players out there for that lol.
Well, I’m a bass player, but I’m not volunteering for THAT gig! ![]()

Lynard Skynard lost another member. RIP, Ean.

so, this is a bit of a tasteless observation, but when I clicked on the link to the article about ELO’s bass player, it had a message saying “link has expired”. Maybe the rockstars are taking up too much bandwidth…? Bad puns aside, it’s always sad to hear of another musician’s passing.
That’s funny, wrong and tasteless.
In other words, EPIC WIN goes to you.
It seems that Lynard Skynard has some kind of curse. The only way to leave that band seems to be death. That’s the second dead bassist from that band in eight years! Also, their piano player, lead singer, etc. ![]()
Yeah, what is it with all these old musicians dying? I thought musicians were immortal…
Hmm, now MJ.
There certainly used to be Moog all over his earlier stuff.
RIP
Yes indeed. Michael Jackson dead at 51 of a heart attack. Lots of Moog, including Thriller. RIP Mike. ![]()
EDIT-correct age is 50. ![]()
Ummmmm… Mr. Jackson was 50 years at death.
Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the “King of Pop” and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday. He was 50.

Yeah…CNN got it wrong at first. They corrected themselves two hours ago. ![]()
On the Dutch news they said he died while they were saying on CNN that he was still hospitalized. Weird that the largest news network in the world was behind on things..
