Recently there have been a couple suggestions for new Filtatron features. I have one too: MIDI input for the VCO. But what all of these suggestions are really pointing to is a different kind of app. Filtatron is a sound processor that also happens to have a sound generator (VCO). Like everything, it can be improved around the edges. That being said, I’d rather the developers spend their energy on a new synth app. I’m guessing that the planning for this app is already under way, but maybe we can offer some suggestions.
- Which Moog synthesizer should the new app be based on?
- If there’s been any work done already, I’m guessing this has already been decided. But maybe it hasn’t.

- Which features does it need to have from the beginning?
- I would nominate audio copy and paste, which Filtatron already has.
