Newby here!

No, not just moog modulars but all modulars. Ive found that the more that I am learning about synthesis, the more I see why those huge systems like the IIIp and the 55 were built. Because its all about dual trigger delays, sequencers, interfaces, multiple enveloipe generators, multiple amplifyers, Highpass, Bandpass, bandreject filters, fixed filter banks, Envelope Followers, multiple oscillators, LFOs, Attenuators, reversable attenuators…The more that you realize CAN be done, the more modules you want to get that makes it happen.

Thats why I said that all roads lead to modulars. (Software or hardware, perhaps I just have this romantisiced view of having a wall full of knobs lol.)

Im sure you could score an A6 from sweetwater. My cousin had one but sold it. Are you in the UK or something?

I saw where Arturia made a desktop synth. It looks neat.

No, I do not know where you can get a new A6.
I also use a Waldorf Q Plus, Waldorf XT, Future Retro 777 and Clavia Nord Modular G2. I also use a Dot Com system and Moogers.

Not as easy as it seems.

They have not had an A6 in stock in quite some time. That price is a little steep too. (about $300 higher than what you “should” pay)

I used my A6 tonight, it is really super cool.

I think both the A6 and Voyager will be classic synthesizers. The best of both worlds… mono and poly analogs!

WHAT!!! I just scored a MINT Virus TI for $1500!! The guy said that after he sold it to me 10 people called him up wanting to purchase it! It sounds amazing, and looks great next to my Voyager! The wood color matches my Voyager and the sound is huge!!!

I couldn’t pass up the half off deal. Today has been a good day my friends! :sunglasses:
