Hi, my new Voyager has arrived today. I can’t turn off the master or headphones volume. If I turn the knobs fully counter clockwise the sound remains very loud. Is it defective or there is somenthing I should know about volume pots?
Thank you and sorry for my english
Check your menus. There are master volume setting controlled via your master and panel modes.
Hi loeleox,
I can’t turn off the master or headphones volume.
It sounds like a broken chip on the analog board.
Is there a distortion on most sounds?
Have fun,
Rudi
I have tried the menus too “master volume gets preset value>yes/no” and “head phone volume gets preset value>yes/no” but the result is the same. The audio level is loud, and the only way is turning down the oscillators levels in mixer section.

My software version is 3.2 and I’m using audio outputs L/R and headphones out.
The display shows volume changes but there is no change in the signal level
Hi Rudi, no, I can’t hear distortion in the sounds. Maybe a little bit but I think that the sound is ok
Hi leoleox,
is there a loudness change when you turn the volume pot?
I guess no…
Have fun,
Rudi
No, there is no audible loudness change.
No, there is no audible loudness change.
Sorry, then there’s a broken chip on the analog board.
Where are you living?
Rudi
I have seen that if I turn attack, decay, release to zero and sustain very low (a little above zero), my headphone pot is able do decrease loudness, but only from very loud to loud. I live in Italy
Thank you
It is probably IC U49 on the analog board. I recommend that you contact the seller of your Voyager and advise them that it needs to be repaired. It is a simple repair but requires a skilled person to replace the part. What is the serial number of your Voyager?
I am very sorry for this trouble! Please send me an email at amos(at)moogmusic.com and I will assist you further.
Kind regards,
