Hello… My first post to the group. I have a used RME on the way and I have a question that I’m hoping someone can answer…
Did all versions of the RME have the 7 banks of presets since it was originally released? or was that an update later in the production of the RME.
The RME I bought was supposedly purchased new, about a year and a half ago.

Well, since no one knew the answer to my question, I contacted Moog and Amos replied with the following…
“When the RME first came out, it ran OS v2.6 and had only one bank of
presets. This was very shortly before the multiple banks of presets
were introduced, but I don’t remember the exact timeline. I can say
that by 2007 it is virtually certain that all Voyagers (keyboard and
rack versions) were shipping with 7 banks of presets, so your ~1.5 year
old RME will very likely have all the banks. To check this / change
banks, you press and hold the Cursor button while pressing +1 or -1 to
change from bank to bank. Bank number (or letter) is indicated in the
upper corner of the LCD.”
Thanks again Amos! I got my used RME over the weekend and it does in fact have the 7 banks of presets. It’s running version 3.3
