Newbie here! Thanks for having me!

Hello, I’m new to the world of Moog and synths. I know very little about keys! Learning as I go. Just picked up a LP stage one.

I’ll be lurking around soaking up all the info I can about this little jewel. BTW, I’m feeling a little out of place here. I’m mostly a folk musician. I’m trying to do something a little different. I want to play my traditional folk music with all electric insturments. I love the sound of the old 70s synth music and I think it would translate great into folk.

Besides the LP I’ve got a set of PK5’s interfaced with a Roland Sound canvas for use while playing the guitar.

See 'ya around.

Welcome to the forum! I’d like to hear some of your folk music on a Moog, so please…post some audio and/or video when you get a chance!

Woodie Guthrie’d be rolling in his grave if he knew about this.

Welcome .. i’m just like you .. new to moog or synths .. i’m skill-less just play as my mind & heart told my fingers to dance around keys (slowly .. lol)
Well, as long as we can enjoy having LP and make our own ‘music’ it’s fine :sunglasses:

Enjoy!

That’s what it’s all about!

Welcome here.

Got my LPSII recently and love it so much.

Moog is definitely a classic. You picked the right synth.

BTW, I forgot to tell you. A few years ago before I knew anything about synths I bought a Moog Rouge at a flea market for five dollars! I sold it on Ebay for five bills! Just a little did you know for 'ya.

OMG This post made me angry .. Grrrr !!! :smiling_imp:

hahaha .. sure that guy was lucky

wow. I have a new place to spend my saturdays. I seen a Juno for $75 not too long ago
