Well, I’ve done it now and stopped resisting the invevitable. A new, cherry wood, electric blue panel, Moog Voyager is soon to be on its way to me. Soon the neighbors will think that aliens have made there way to NJ when my Voyager, M3 and foogers are joined and the musical streams crossed and then, well, you never know what kind of trouble can be stirred up.
It had to be done and its taking me in the musical direction I want to go so its a good thing, a very good thing.
Hope to post more here once I have my Voyager. I will also be taking it on a trip to New Hamshire to try to convince an old friend to get out of microwave defense electronics and make synth modules. I am sure once he hears what these wonderful instruments can do he might reconsider.
For a while he was working from his home but now tied to a desk and away from the family. Perhaps an opporunity. If you can design microwave antenas then certainly, modules can’t be that hard right?
Congrats on the order. I placed mine las weekend so almost one week down and hopefully one more to wait for it to be built. I ordered a walnut solar. Also i don’t know who you ordered from or if it has to be built but, nova musik was nice enough to ask if they could do the lfo light mod while building it and they said yes of course i had to pay but kill two birds with one stone.
