New analog synthesizer!

A small teaser for ya:

1.) 4 VCOs (4th VCO can function as an LFO), waveforms include saw, tri, square and pulse with 2 or 3 duty cycles - can’t remember which ones but I think it’s 25% and 5%)
2.) 2 filters (VCF1: multimode 12dB highpass, 12 dB lowpass, 6dB notch, VCF2: 24dB transistor ladder)
3.) 2 analog ADSRs for the filters, each filter gets its own ADSR
4.) 2 analog ADSRs for VCA
5.) flexible routing with separate knobs: each VCO can be sent to either VCF1, VCF 2 or both
6.) modulation busses ala Voyager style.
7.) polyphony: 1 voice
8.) keyboard: 4 octaves
9.) controls: pitch and modulation wheels (wooden ones)
10.) construction: wooden, with flip-up panel ala Minimoog
11.) no patch memory, no LCD

More teasers soon… :sunglasses:

Seems like a little expanded Voyager Old School?

Dark energy maybe?

I just looked at all of the unusual synths at Analogue Haven, & didn’t see any that fit the bill, but I did see they have an Andromeda in stock. I still think I’ll get the Prophet 08 pe though. Can’t wait to hear the Taurus 3s & Prophet together - I wonder how much longer until the T-3s start shipping…

who’s the manufacturer? give us SOMETHING!

::edit:: n00b in germany eh?

The Germans are our friends:

The europeans seem to have a real appreciate for synths, and they seem like they are importing all of the leftover Moogs.

Eric

Vintage Soviet analog perhaps? More clues, please!

He’s spamming this all over the 'net. Just sit tight and see.

Sorry, had to do it. :smiling_imp:

Cool. The teaser-spam has been defused. It was getting annoying seeing it on every forum.

Excellent detective work, Eric!!!

What do you mean “every” forum? How is 2 fora every forum for you? I am really sorry that you have found it annoying. Next time I will post on “literary” every forum a thread about a DX7 editor to spike your curiosity and relieve your anxiety.

Nice looking synth, you’re a lucky guy!!

Thanks but it’s not mine yet. (I am working on it). I just saw the cover of a magazine while I was in Hamburg and thought that it must be some VST thingy. Boy, am I glad I was wrong!

I hope that you will be glad that you were wrong after the price announcement…

Oh ok. Oh well, it’s hard for the GAS to kick in for me until I know a ballpark of how much it’ll cost!

The features sure seem nice, but you gotta think how expensive it is to import a Voyager from Moog, this could be their answer to that problem.

Just think, the situation is reversed for anyone wanting to import one to here. You don’t like UPS shipping your gear…how about over the ocean and through various countries?

Eric

From there to here isn’t too bad. Even though the dollar is in the tank, there is NO VAT! Shipping isn’t that bad. Duty usually isn’t very high.

Price is subjective. You either have the money and you are willing to spend it, or you don’t.
