1.) 4 VCOs (4th VCO can function as an LFO), waveforms include saw, tri, square and pulse with 2 or 3 duty cycles - can’t remember which ones but I think it’s 25% and 5%)
2.) 2 filters (VCF1: multimode 12dB highpass, 12 dB lowpass, 6dB notch, VCF2: 24dB transistor ladder)
3.) 2 analog ADSRs for the filters, each filter gets its own ADSR
4.) 2 analog ADSRs for VCA
5.) flexible routing with separate knobs: each VCO can be sent to either VCF1, VCF 2 or both
6.) modulation busses ala Voyager style.
7.) polyphony: 1 voice
8.) keyboard: 4 octaves
9.) controls: pitch and modulation wheels (wooden ones)
10.) construction: wooden, with flip-up panel ala Minimoog
11.) no patch memory, no LCD
I just looked at all of the unusual synths at Analogue Haven, & didn’t see any that fit the bill, but I did see they have an Andromeda in stock. I still think I’ll get the Prophet 08 pe though. Can’t wait to hear the Taurus 3s & Prophet together - I wonder how much longer until the T-3s start shipping…
What do you mean “every” forum? How is 2 fora every forum for you? I am really sorry that you have found it annoying. Next time I will post on “literary” every forum a thread about a DX7 editor to spike your curiosity and relieve your anxiety.
Thanks but it’s not mine yet. (I am working on it). I just saw the cover of a magazine while I was in Hamburg and thought that it must be some VST thingy. Boy, am I glad I was wrong!
The features sure seem nice, but you gotta think how expensive it is to import a Voyager from Moog, this could be their answer to that problem.
Just think, the situation is reversed for anyone wanting to import one to here. You don’t like UPS shipping your gear…how about over the ocean and through various countries?
