I am working with a friend who makes loudspeakers for gigs. To keep it simple, it is a platic tube with copper wire wound around it (the electromagnet). The problem is with the glue. The glue he currently uses can withstand 180 degrees celsius, but there are problems with the glue coming undone at full volume.
We are looking for a glue that can withstand 250 degrees celsius. We got a sample from GE, but it’s a coating so it’s not going to work. We are looking into aerospace glue, but does anyone know of a glue that can withstand these temperatures that is used in synths or other electronic gear?
Thanks in advance.
