Need help with moogerfooger analog delay MF-104Z

I have an mf-104z analog delay that works great through my amp but when I tried to record through an interface I could only hear the delay out. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks in advance

Hi!

You may have been using the DELAY OUT with your amp FX loop. This only outputs the delayed signal.
With an audio interface, I think using the AUDIO OUT will work better as it outputs both the direct and delayed signals.

Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the issue. I re-read the manual and am using the MIX OUT but the issue remains the same no matter what output I use.

What is the position of the mix knob?

I have tried the mix knob in many positions but nothing changes.

Cannot seem to understand

You may have to isolate and test every possible problem/error source, meaning cable, output setting.
But wait: same mix setting, same output, same cable: it will work on your amp on not on your interface?

Just to be sure: are you using the FX loop on your amp? Or the direct input? THAT can make a difference, of course.
If you use the frint input (guitare → MF → Amp), with mix set to 50%, with the MAIN OUT, use the longest time setting and check if you have direct sound or not.

Any results?

No success yet, but I was not accurate with my description. My amp was in the shop when I first made this post and now that I have tested the 104z the same issue is occurring. Delay signal but no direct signal. Any suggestions?

Well, no more than the last time.
Don’t understand if you’ve tested what I suggested last time…
