I recorded a score for a documentary project a couple of years ago, and along with another sound, I also lost this one as I didn’t save it (like an idiot). I’m very close to figuring out the sound, but without being able to see the wave form live it’s a very tedious process that I’d like to expedite.
cutting to the point, it was made on the LP Tribute played on the highest G key on the standard (middle) octave setting. I essentially would like someone to tell me what I need to set the ADSR to. I know that other settings in the filter also effect this to a degree, but you gotta start somewhere!
I’ve been working with the original recording done in Ableton (where I screen grabbed from) and I found last night that several other settings needed changing in other areas, like OSCs etc. This meant that certain tunings of osc 2 were closer to the sound played much higher on he octave scale. It’s getting there…slowly
What would be nice is a realtime Waveform viewer instead of rerecording and comparing etc. ah well.
It should be… it’s a regular VST plugin, and I’ve used it in other VST hosts (mainly Audiomulch). In my experience, any plugins that work in Audiomulch will also work in Live.
huh ok. Ableton is not seeing it, I’ve tried placing it in all possible VST folders and it doesn’t pop up. I’m on an Intel Mac with Tiger, do you think there’s any problem there?
