need help getting keys level.

My keys are not level. In fact they look bad.

  1. Installed new bushings.
  2. Installed new key tops.
  3. springs, bushings, grommets new.

Now I look at my keybed and its not level.
I removed two keybars and attempted to bend the metal.
I used a ruler to check they are flat.

Now I have a second Pratt reed key assembly that’s just 100% perfect, looks never used.
I look at MY moog and its awful bent up.

I’m to chicken to pop out my key contact board and instal in my rather new looking pratt reed, although it could be done just not by me.

Can you give me any tips? just go at this with a level head and patients?

Take it to a tech who has done this kind of thing before…!

Cheers,
Tom

O it looks like I need the height adjustment tool supplied by Moog.

This tutorial looks way better then the one I was on.

Where can I get the tool for this? They say needle nose will crack the metal.

I made my own tool… you could try making your own…?

Or alternatively, like I said - go to a tech…!?

Cheers,
Tom
