my Pc doesn't recognize my LP

Hi ALL,

Just would like to know if anyone is experiencing any trouble when connecting the LP stage 2 via USB, it isn’t recognizing the LP or I should rephrase that, actually it is but it is trying to go online to search for the proper software to install new hardware, however my audio DAW is permenantly offline so I’m wondering is it even necesarry to go online to get the right soft/firmware since most things these days install it when connecting to a PC, and if it is necessary where can I find the right software on the site so it will see my LP as new device ? I have already installed the librarian editor (demo) but that doesn’t seem to help in fact I can’t use the librarian editor cause it isn’t seeing my LP. Do it need to license it first , or do you get to play around with it ?

any help/advice is very welcome !

cheers,

This is the kind of message that is likely to send me in to a battery of tests, just to make sure I am not missing something. And it did.

I have never used the USB port on the LP, nor do I plan to really (recording from Mixer sound card), Midi just fine for me atm.

So I plug the usb cable into the PC (LP already turned on).. nothing conspicuous to report… in fact nothing at all, not even the usual ‘Your device is ready to use’ message. Start up the DAW software… LP is available (by name) both as input and output devices.

Sorry (yet glad)
