my new tune with a voyager... rough as guts sound

Here’s a new tune of mine with the Voyager featured (once again).

I will never fully tap this synth’s depths, I feel.

In here I’ve used a considerable amount of processing on the Voyager, but I’ve managed to get a very rough sound out of it, even just in its core sound. I think is interesting because I’ve read people who complain about the Voyager lacking edginess. It goes to show that if you work with its sweet spots you can coax all sorts of unexpected things out of it.

One of the main processes I’ve used in this which enlivens the sound is re-amping. Does excellent stuff to the voyager. I’ve got the dry signal, mixed with that sound coming from a keyboard amp in another room, captured with a microphone. Gives it a real liveliness.

My music isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but thought I’d post here for the Voyagerism

I enjoyed this. Very unique style. All the modulation with the Voyager is very sweet. Well done, sir.

I had never listened to any of your stuff before, so honestly I didn’t expect anything spectacular. The intro modulation was neat, but then when the beat kicked in my jaw dropped to the floor. This is absolutely amazing work. I want to have an entire album of this, and I will gladly pay for it.

Thanks mate, that’s very nice of you to say
I do indeed have a little EP coming out, and I’m working on new stuff very often. I have trouble fitting it all in, because I’m also a “classical” composer and that has its own set of commitments. But, one out soonish, and the next one hopefully within a year of it.
