My Moog is so old it's got tubes!

Does anyone else have a really old one? Mine’s a 1974 Micromoog. Hear my sounds at myspace.com/kidcreole5

Cool trax, but why not just say your music has Moog in it?

Because it’s only been the last couple of years that anyone’s been making real synths with tubes in them (like Metasonix who are pretty hardcore) and a couple other companies stick them inside of little windows just as much for cool marketing hype as for sound. Not a single factory-made synthesizer from the 70s had tubes in 'em though you do find some in some amps.

My oldest Moog is from the 80s but I have a 1971 synth made by another company and a friend has a Moog from 1968.

Your very insightful! thanks for your input.
