My 9 year-old stole my T3!

That kid’s going to have one hell of a legacy.

Too epic for words! :sunglasses:

Is this the same 9 year old that got his picture made with Les Claypool?

Yes, the same kid that played with Les Claypool. (I think they’re gigging again later this month)

My son and I ended up making a Whamola.

Then… the T3 arrived. He’s using the M-Audio Oxygen 8 to control much of the T3 - especially the arpeggiator.

That was really neat! Those pictures went up and down so fast I didn’t remember who posted them.

Going to be an interesting thing to see what he does when he gets older.

Eric

… when he gets older.

I know this sounds cliche, but that’s happening too fast!

Yeah when my wife and I have children its going to be interesting to see what happens.

Eric

God help us…

But seriously, that’s less scary than ME having kids. :open_mouth:

I love the kid sized whamola. How’s it sound? I absolutely love a whamola solo.

It sounds great… especially through an arsenal of effects (wah-wah, distortion, chorus, etc.).

The scale length is 30" - the same as a 3/4 size bass guitar. We have had the best results (no string breakage) with an 1/8 size double bass G-string. We tune the string to an octave below its normal tuning. And with the lever, the string can be tightened up to two octaves without breaking.

We are having success with pizzicato and bowing, as well as the standard method of whacking the string with a drum stick.

Its almost like you could make one of those with a set of wooden crutches.
