Muse: MIDI / CV sync issues - 1.4 firmware

Hi fellow musers. I purchased a Muse this year for its super cool arpeggiator features, but sadly MIDI clock sync is just not functional. Prior to the 1.4 firware update, the clock would just play catchup every measure or so (accelerate at the end of the measures) and then after 1.4 update the arpeggiator just runs with about 1/16 to 1/8 notes delay behind the beat. Completely unusuable. I’m running a rock solid Multiclock, which all of my other devices sync to just fine.

Before I start exploring the CV option w/ my current setup, can anyone confirm that CV input is working better than MIDI Clock for syncing the arpeggiator to an external source?

I reached out to Moog support, and my ticket has just disappeared into the abyss. Wow moog. Disappointing all around.

Not sure if this is helpful but the clock in the Messenger behaves the same exact way. Its unusable. Doesn’t seem like any of the YouTube reviews address a studio setup with proper clock or multiple midi devices needing to be rock solid. Very disappointed with Moog..

Same here @grantlandau . From my experience CV is marginally better than MIDI but not by much. Would be great to get confirmation from Moog that something is being done to fix this issue, else I’d have to return it
