Now this quote make sense to me lol.
I just keep my Midi Murf engaged (green light on) and turn the mix knob down to zero when I don’t want to hear the effect. I still get sound out of both outputs that way and when I want to hear the Murf effect I just turn up the mix. Not sure that is what you are looking for but thought I’d mention it before you start soldering an expensive Moogerfooger board. 
It’s actually very easy to do. Just get a small blob of solder on that bisected pad and it’s done.

In fact I do the ‘Mix full left’ instead of bypass much of the time.

Yeah mix full left is the best, I aint opening it and plus when u switch on the pedal it wont be on bypass… so it saves me a step…
