The rate button is still disabled when i engage midi sync in the standalone editor, clock divisions don’t change.
Changing clock divisions in the editor with the mouse also dit not result in an audible rate change.
using Win64, abltn Daw etc via midi, standalone editor via usb
if this is not a bug it could be the unit is not receiving a clock, but i am sending midi clock via a sub 37.
(mtr is on midi out chnl3)
I’m not sure I understand. Are you using MTRE standalone or plugin ? If standalone, what happens when you load the plugin inside Ableton ? are you able to sync the LFO to the DAW bpm ?
mtr connected in daw, sending midi notes and clock via midi cable
editor inserted on the same channel, connected via usb (mtr in -out)
mtr connected in daw, sending midi notes and clock via usb
editor inserted on same channel via usb
mtr connected in daw, sending midi notes and clock via midi cable
standalone editor via usb
results are the same:
once i click on midi sync, the actual lfo rate does not change and cannot be changed by either
turning the physical lfo rate knob
turning the lfo rate dial with the mouse in the editor
changing clock division with the mouse in the editor
it seems as if the mtr is not receiving a clock
i double checked with my sub 37, this one does receive clock signal, knobs and editor respond as expected.
fyi using ablton live
usb connection goes through a generic usb hub
midi goes through the sub 37 which is set to echo din in to din out
interestingly i checked and standalone and plugin work at the same time without apparent conflicts.
