[MTR] Live 8.4.2; LFO, VCO2

Issues I have encountered so far:

• Live 8.4.2 will not recognize the Minitaur as a Midi port anymore; I have to select my MOTU now to get any response
• LFO: when syncing to MIDI, different rates results in completely arbitrary, though synced
• VCO2 Only: does not work at all

I know a couple of these have already been reported, but thought I would reiterate.

Indeed, both are known and are in the queue.

  • Did that happen to you more than once ?
  • Not sure I understand what you did to make it work again (“Motu”) ?
  • Anyone else who also had this problem ?

When the Minotaur is hooked up via USB, it shows up as “Moog Minitaur” in the external instrument drop down. After the update it doesn’t show up anymore. Now I just control the Minitaur via MIDI through my Motu. Not a big deal, but it frees up a link in my MIDI chain.

Did you make sure the Minitaur In and Out ports are enabled on Ableton Preferences? Do you see them on Midi channels ? (in/out lists)

Does this work well for you using 3.2b4/2.1.10 ?

Keep in mind VCO2 ONLY is not yet implemented.
