I was trying to use the minitaur for lead purposes today,
and i noticed the top octave behaviour changed,
now going over the top octave plays the same note for every key,
for the second oscillator it happens ‘sooner’ when it is pitched an octave up, giving unexpected unmusical results.
i can imagine a static top note to be useful when using the hard sync feature, but in this case it is rather annoying.

also a lot of features seem to need recalibration , until i turned the dial for the first time on the device, their seemed to be offsets and discrepancies between both sound, physical dial and the virtual dial in the editor. It all syncs up as soon as you turn every dial fully once, but it took me a while to discover why the oscillators were so out of tune. Also the beat frequency seems to default to something else than middle position, a bit annoying for a quick workflow

The following feature was added at some point:

Changing “Wrap Up” mode by holding GLIDE and turning GLIDE knob. GLIDE knob below mid-position = octave wrap OFF; GLIDE knob above mid-position = octave wrap ON. When top octave wrap is on, then notes above C5 will repeat the highest octave; when octave wrap is off, then all notes above C5 will play C5.

We may need to change it so it acts like the older version by default. I’m not sure it doesn’t actually. Is it possible that you’ve already changed it ?

Good to know, this must indeed be what happend, thanks! Also the unit started up in the patch configuration i turned it off, no beatfreq offset or anything. Must have been because of the constant firmware and editor updating. So thumbs up here!
