Moving overseas, best way to fly my Moogz to my new home?

Hello everyone!

I am moving overseas late this year and I was wondering what the best way to ship my Moog gear would be. Does anybody have any experience with buying the Moog brand ATA cases or shipping Moogs or checking them on a flight? I’m pretty sure I’m gonna need that ATA case for my Little Phatty, but idk what to do with my Slim or my (soon to arrive) Minitaur Not to mention my two turntables, mixer and boxes of vinyl…

All of these things are PRECIOUS to me and I want to have them come with me in the most cared-for way possible! I think my best bet is to get flight cases for everything and let the movers pack them with everything else, but I don’t want anything stolen and I have no clue what cases to get the SP or Minitaur. Any suggestions?

For your lp you most likely can carry it on in the soft bag. It’s not that large or heavy. Most airline allow instruments as overhead. I’ve found international carriers to be more accommodating then US carriers. Also look into Pelican cases they are strong,lightweight,waterproof and less expensive than ata cases. if you are having things shipped then weight is /should be less of a problem. Good luck
