Hello Taurus owners,
Do any of you get the feeling like there will be more Taurus’ produced by Moog in the near future? I know they said limited run of 1000 but now they are moving to a bigger building, adding more skilled peeps to the staff, the T3’s have been selling like hotcakes… I wonder what they are cooking up next.
Its possible. THey did that with the Phatty. They did say at one time One run and one run only, but now after the R&D is done, it would be wise to meet a consumer demand.
I also see alternates, like a Taurus RME (i would have preferred this initially, but happy with what I have) or even better, a Taurus FIlter Fooger with the specially overdriven circuitry and more important…AUDIO INPUT.
Would love to see an Audio Input Mod for the Taurus.
Or perhaps a bar on the front suitable for carrying it lolololololol JOKE. DO NOT CARRY THE TAURUS BY THE FOOTGUARD.

According to the latest Sweetwater Music catalog, Moog will produce 1500 sets, so it appears the number has already been increased.
I purchased my Taurus not for collectability, but because I love the classic Taurus sound ( this makes my 3rd set - I’ve owned T-1s and T-2s), and I don’t blame Moog one bit for selling as many Taurus as there is demand for. I’m grateful that there enough analog connoisseurs to keep Moog thriving in this less than ideal economy.
I also really dig the new Voyager XL 
, but I’m still hoping (and saving) for a Moog Polyphonic - I just hope they can keep the price under $6k.

by the way : maybe moog should stop completely with explaning that only so many will be made.

i ordered my taurus 3 , hope the vca-? leakage will be little ( see other topic ), strange thing however is that the dealer could only order the taurus ( i think it will be serial1000 btw), but not the covers. are they already sold out/ on a limited production run ?

The road case and the dust cover are both still available directly from Moog. I have them both, and they are very well-made & useful accessories. 
i bought mine in the nethherlands, will come beginning of next week. dealer , mtec told me the covers are not available . ordiering straight from the us will set me back anothe 50dollars or so, above the original price due to transport and taxes. that i would have spared by ordering both the pedal and cover at the same time at the same dealer in the netherlands.
besides that it’s funny all the talk of 1000 or more taurus and then it’s the covers not available…
