Moogseum announced

Got this from bleepology :

The Moog Foundation ( http://www.moogfoundation.org/ ) is planning a museum for all of the archived information they have collected.

They say they have the building already picked out and ready to go,
so now they’re working on the design.

Here’s a picture of the posterboard they had up of the current design.

Awesome, it’d be a cool place to play a gig at too!

Too bad they didn’t take better pictures of the posterboard so we could have read everything.

I really can’t wait I told my wife when they build it, I will go.

It will be the first time Ill ever get to see a Modular, or a Mini or anything like that.

THanks for posting this!

Eric

Any idea where it will be? And will it be interactive?! I would love to go there, to be able to see and hear all those classic beasts would just be a dream come true… well actually the dream would be owning all of them but close enough

I wonder if they’d offer classes or tutorials in the use of Moog synthesizer, like how to make some crazy sounds, or properly patch up a modular… stuff like that. Imagine if they offered rental instruments so that you could record with it! :open_mouth:

Ill be happy just to see some of the old stuff, like the Theremin Cello and Im really looking forward to some of the stuff that they find in his notes.

Perhaps the Schematics for the Moog Drum machine modules that Eric Siday had…stuff like that.

Very cool! I wanna go NOW! I hope they hurry up and build it!
