there is an old episode of “Saved By The Bell” where Screech is playing (or holding) a Moog Liberation. I cry inside when I see Moogs used as props.

Now that you mention it, have any of you ever seen the old rock cartoon, Jem? In it, there was a band called the Misfits, and one of their singers appeared to be playing a Moog Liberation. Kind of weird, considering how already out-of-time it was. I suppose, it looked cool in an animated mainframe alongside of other radically-drawn instruments.

Yup. Saw it. But I’d wish they’d show him playing it.

Aside to Hieronymous: The Muppet Show episode with Harry Belafonte has him and Animal having a drum-off. Harry starts; Animal copies him. Harry soon drums something that Animal can’t copy. Soon the two are drumming together.

In doing a search for The Muppet Show on DVD, I found this story:

Muppet Central News

Looks like season by season DVD sets, later this year! I haven’t watched that show in at least 20 years…

About time!!! The Muppet Show was one of the few entertaining shows on TV, and sadly missing from today’s syndication. I’ll be on the lookout for those DVDs…

If they are doing it season by season, COOL. I several, if not all, of " The Best of The Muppet Show" DVD’s, which has three episodes per disc.

Last I checked Amazon had most of them, I purchased mine from Best Buy.

Saw old mini on the muppets, like 15 years ago.
Paul Shaffer on Letterman, has an AE, but I think he just has it turned on. Unless he is midi-controlling it’s seems to be just for show. Also o the short-live Methodman-Redman show, they have an AE, in their “studio”, but it never is played either. Seems most peeps just have for show, because its so nice looking, and not for actual playing.

Good news indeed. Thank you, Hieronymous!

When I checked online for availability last month, I could only find 8, and 3 of them were out of print or on moratorium.

I have seen a picture of a Minimoog Voyager on a sticker that was placed on a jar (commercial product) - it was under the category “electronic music”. The one who collects the most stickers wins cds of that category. Arghh… if it was a voyager I would be left without teeth by now -
